Is this the same as a BBL?
A Brazilian butt lift is fat transfer with the buttocks as the destination, and we perform it the same awake way — harvest by liposuction from the abdomen, flanks or thighs, then layered placement. The retention arithmetic on this page applies there too.
Why do only some grafts survive?
Transferred fat has no blood supply until one grows into it. Parcels placed too large in one spot die in the middle. Technique — small aliquots, many planes, gentle handling — is what moves the retention rate.
Will weight changes affect it?
Yes. Surviving fat behaves like the fat it came from, so it grows and shrinks with your weight. Most people find this a feature.
Who actually performs my treatment?
Dr. Ramos performs every surgical and injectable procedure himself. Facials, laser and IV therapy are performed by licensed clinical staff under his supervision. You will know which before you book, and you will meet whoever is treating you at the consult.
