Seven questions that expose a med spa quote
Not a comparison chart. Seven questions you can ask at any clinic, including this one, where the answer tells you more than the number does.

The price on a med spa website is usually the beginning of a number rather than the number. These questions surface the rest of it.
1. Is this per unit or per area?
The classic. A per-unit tox price looks cheaper on a website and is unbounded in the chair — you find out the total once the needle is down. We price neurotoxin per area for exactly this reason.
2. Who is injecting me, and what are they?
"Our team of expert injectors" is not an answer. Ask for the specific person and their qualification. It is a reasonable question and any clinic that bristles at it has told you something.
3. Is the follow-up included, or billed?
A two-week neurotoxin review, a six-week thread review, a three-month liposuction check. If these are extra, they are part of the price and should have been quoted.
4. What is in the surgical quote?
For anything in a procedure room, ask specifically: surgeon fee, facility fee, anaesthesia, garment, follow-ups. A quote that covers only the first is not comparable to one that covers all five, and the difference can be thousands. Our liposuction pricing is all-inclusive and the written quote is the number.
5. What happens if I need a touch-up?
Ask what is included, for how long, and what triggers a charge. Get it in writing at the consult, when you have leverage, rather than afterwards when you do not.
6. What does the maintenance cost per year?
Almost everything in aesthetics is recurring. A thread lift at eighteen months, tox at three to nine, filler at twelve. The honest figure is the annual one, and a clinic that has never calculated it for you is quoting you the first instalment of something open-ended.
7. Can I take the quote home?
Yes should be the answer, along with no same-day discount for deciding on the spot. Time-limited pricing exists to prevent you from thinking, and thinking is exactly what you should be doing about an elective procedure.
