Testosterone therapy in Tampa, FL

$189/mo

A monthly membership covering your protocol, quarterly labs and physician review. No enrolment fee, no annual contract, and you can stop with thirty days' notice.

TRT is straightforward to start and easy to do badly. What separates a good protocol from a subscription mill is what gets monitored — haematocrit, oestradiol, PSA and lipids — and whether anyone adjusts the dose when those move. Treated at our Tampa clinic on 4710 N Habana Ave, with free parking on site.

How we handle privacy

  • Consults in a closed room, never at the front desk
  • Text-first — you never have to say this out loud on a phone call
  • Card statements read “Ageless Health,” nothing more specific
  • Nothing is mailed to your home with the clinic's name on it
  • Early and late appointment slots outside peak hours

What a session is like

Two morning blood draws

Testosterone varies enough through the day that a single afternoon sample is not a diagnosis. Two morning draws, plus LH, FSH, prolactin and a full metabolic panel.

We find out why it is low

Sleep apnoea, obesity, thyroid disease and certain medications all suppress testosterone and are worth treating in their own right. Some men do not need TRT once the cause is addressed, and we would rather find that out first.

Protocol and route

Injectable, cream or pellet, with the trade-offs laid out. If fertility matters now or later, we discuss hCG or an alternative approach before starting rather than afterwards.

Six-week labs

Trough level, haematocrit and oestradiol. Dose adjusted on results, not on how you say you feel.

Quarterly review, ongoing

Included. Haematocrit is the one that ends protocols run carelessly, and we watch it.

Testosterone therapy is a good fit if

  • Two morning tests confirming low testosterone, plus symptoms
  • Persistent fatigue, low libido, poor recovery or mood change
  • You want the underlying cause investigated, not just replaced
  • You want ongoing monitoring rather than a repeat prescription

Something else will serve you better if

  • You are actively trying to conceive — TRT suppresses fertility and there are alternatives
  • Untreated prostate cancer or an unexplained raised PSA
  • Untreated severe sleep apnoea
  • Normal levels and symptoms — we will look elsewhere rather than treat you anyway

“He told me straight that my case was probably hormonal and shockwave alone wouldn't fix it. Ran labs first. Appreciated not being sold.”

“Three months in, my labs are where they should be and I stopped falling asleep at 8pm. The quarterly review is what makes it work.”

Testosterone therapy questions

Will this affect my fertility?
Yes. Exogenous testosterone suppresses your own production and can substantially reduce sperm count. If fertility matters now or might later, say so at the first appointment — hCG alongside TRT, or enclomiphene instead of it, are both real options, and they are much easier to plan for at the start.
Am I on this for life?
If the cause is primary, likely yes. If it is secondary to something treatable, often no. Men who stop after a long course go through a recovery period, which we manage rather than leaving you to it.
How is this different from a TRT clinic?
The monitoring, mostly. Quarterly labs are included rather than billed, a physician reviews them rather than an algorithm, and the dose changes when the numbers say it should. We also decline men who do not need it, which a volume clinic has no reason to do.
Who actually performs my treatment?
Dr. Ramos performs every surgical and injectable procedure himself. Facials, laser and IV therapy are performed by licensed clinical staff under his supervision. You will know which before you book, and you will meet whoever is treating you at the consult.
What does the consultation cost?
Nothing. It runs about twenty minutes, you get an honest read on whether the thing you want is the thing you need, and you leave with a written quote you can take home and think about. Nobody will chase you to book same-day.
Can I finance this?
Yes, through Cherry or CareCredit. The application is a soft credit check that does not affect your score and returns a decision in about sixty seconds. We will show you the monthly figure at the consult rather than after it.
